Let the high flying celebration begin! Families with children of all ages are welcome to celebrate National Kite Month at King Manor! Kites are fun, but they have also been used for scientific experiments and discovery. Kids will create and decorate their own kite and try flying it in the backyard at the Manor.

Founded in 1900, King Manor Association of L.I., Inc. operates King Manor as a historic house museum to preserve and interpret the home and legacy of Rufus King. Our goal is to make history relevant and immediate, and to foster an awareness of the roots of the present and a deeper appreciation of history as an on-going process.
