Join Randall's Island Park Alliance, Feminist Bird Club, and NYC Audubon in celebrating #BlackBirdersWeek. This event follows a Birding Field Trip lead by Akilah Lewis of Feminist Bird Club and Ronnie Almonte of Brooklyn Bird Club, happening from 11am-2:30pm. Celebrate and amplify Black Birders and Black joy by joining this Community BBQ. Songs, stories, and voices will sing out like the birds in the trees and skies above. Food will be available to purchase, but bring your own BBQ treats as well. Tables are limited: elders and those with physical needs will have priority.
