Event description: In the 1800s, a French painter named Georges Seurat developed a special technique called pointillism. Pointillism used dots instead of brush strokes to produce paintings that were more colorful and created more powerful artistic effects. This technique required more time; one of Seurat's paintings took two years to complete. Learn more about this renowned artist as you also try your hand at making your own pointillist painting.
