Event description: Celebrate the summer in Our Backyard with musical delights representing the season by Sonic Escape, three classically trained Juilliard musicians Shawn Wyckoff (flute), Maria Kaneko Millar (violin) and Michael Haas (cello). The trio share a love of the outdoors and classical and traditional folk music. Come outside and see how their shared interests blend together.

Summer is the first performance in a concert series celebrating the four seasons to be held in venues across Long Island. Inspired by the themes of sunny days, festivals and celebration, the Summer repertoire combines Italian, Spanish and Latin American folk and classical music , including Vivaldis Four Seasons, O Sole Mio,La Cumparsita, and Walking the Woods in Twilight. This performance is part of the New York State Presenters Network Presenter-Artist Partnership Project with support from the New York State Council on the Arts, Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
