Event description: Join this award-winning pianist/composer and his trio for a fun and engaging concert of jazz music. This exciting group blends jazz with South American rhythms, funk and even rock music. A great way of introducing jazz to young ears!

Daniel is working on a larger project with LICM titled �Rakonto: Life After Hurricane Sandy.� This new composition, to be premiered on February 18, 2014, is a collaborative project between Daniel and community members who will share their stories about how Hurricane Sandy affected their lives. Come meet Daniel and learn how to share your story! These performances are part of the New York State Presenters Network Presenter-Artist Partnership Project with support from the New York State Council on the Arts, Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
