Event description: Get ready for a painting workshop as you add layers of paint and remove layers of paint by peeling and scraping. Artists like Willem de Kooning used these methods to create artwork and show the process. Explore different techniques used by artists to apply paint as you experiment with texture and depth. Use a variety of materials and tools as you show the process you used to create your work of art. Leave your artwork at LICM for the annual spring art exhibit.
