Event description:

Did you know that bats are the only mammal capable of continuous flight? Bats are amazing animals that do a great deal of good for the environment… and us! Some bats eat fruit and pollinate plants while other species can eat nearly 1,200 mosquitos in an hour. Bats are nocturnal and navigate the dark night by using echolocation. Celebrate Bat Appreciation Month and learn about these creepy critters then create your own hanging bat to take home. Stop by anytime between 2:00 and 4:00. This craft takes approximately ten minutes to complete and it's yours to keep.
