Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader in the civil rights movement. In 1964, at the age of 35, he was the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. His powerful speech of equality and peace entitled “I Have a Dream” is still echoed today. Celebrate Martin Luther King’s legacy, and light the way to love, by creating a battery operated votive holder inspired by his words, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” This is a free drop in program. Reserve your daily admission ticket for an opportunity to take part. This craft takes approximately ten minutes to complete and it's yours to keep! Available while supplies last.
