Event description: Spring (Seeqan) is when indigenous people moved from winter homes in forest areas to the estuaries and coastlines to begin reaping the harvests of the sea. Join Museum Educator Leah Hopkins (Niantic/Narragansett) on the Farmstead as she demonstrates traditional cooking methods used by southern New England indigenous peoples in the early 17th century.
