Description: Bealtaine is the original Celtic first day of summer which, even now, is still commemorated across Europe with Maypoles, May dances, May Day, Queen of the May, and more. The celebration will take place on the first floor of Molloy College's Wilbur Arts Building, which is located on the northern edge of the college's campus in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York. All interested in the Irish Language and Gaelic culture are invited to attend, participate, and enjoy this community event. Admission is free, refreshments will be served, but no Bealtaine bonfires will be permitted on campus.
