Event description: Climb stairs, open doors, and discover a world of shapes and colors, patterns and light. Armed with clipboards, clues, and curiosity, Preservation Detectives follow a sparkling trail through the magnificently restored 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue. Along the way, colorful clues reveal a fascinating story about the immigrant Jews who lived in the neighborhood and worshipped in this space over a century ago. Find glass jewels, count shining stars, do a glass rubbing and discover the secrets only an aging beauty can tell.

Reservations recommended.
