Event description: Part 2 of the Childcare Council of Westchester's Autism Spectrum Workshop Series for Parents, Providers and Early Educators. Author and former Yale and Vassar College Professor, Priscilla Gilman, will host a 2 hour workshop/presentation for teachers, parents and child care providers, reading from her acclaimed memoir, "The Anti-Romantic Child: A Story of Unexpected Joy." She will share her compelling story of raising a child on the Autistic Spectrum and offer advice for effective and growth-promoting parent-caregiver-school collaboration. Part 3: January 4, 2012.
