Kashi is teaming up with the United Nations and Street Art for Mankind to help raise awareness for their shared vision of a world where everyone has access to the food they need. In honor of the UN’s 75th anniversary, the commissioned mural will live in midtown Manhattan, blocks from the UN Headquarters at 245 East 44 th Street. The mural is the first in a historic campaign illustrating one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals of achieving zero hunger by 2030 The mural features a child who is supported by the shoulders of his mother. We can’t see her presence but we imagine she represents every one of us – lifting the next generation up by working to eliminate hunger across the world. In addition to raising awareness through the mural, Kashi will be donating a minimum of $5,000 (approximately 50,000 meals) through No Kid Hungry. Kashi is encouraging its community to help them increase the donation to 100,000 meals by using the hashtag #KashiFeedsTomorrow*. Kashi will donate $1 (approximately 10 meals) for every social share using the hashtag and tagging @Kashi. This giveback will run through October 31.
