Event description: Bring your favorite family story and record it, against a historic background, to take home as a treasured memento. A master storyteller will provide tips and cues to help you make a great presentation and share some stories about important families in history. Attendees will tour the new DiMenna Children's History Museum and end the program in the Barbara K. Lipman Children's History Library, where they'll make their storytelling debut.

The DiMenna Children’s History Museum encourages families to explore history together through permanent installations and a wide range of family learning programs for toddlers, children, and preteens. From weekly storytelling for toddlers to living historians, we have what you need for your New York and history-obsessed child!
