Social distancing and virtual learning have caused many children to turn to online games and social media to connect with their friends. Today's parents are wondering if being online is a lifesaver or a problem. Join the NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center for a conversation to learn how best to manage the role devices play in your child's life. You will also discover strategies for setting limits; potential warning signs; and how you can help your child navigate the online world. Presenters: Rachel Goldman, Ph.D. and Shira Ritholtz, Ph.D. Advanced registration required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. This presentation is for adults of all ages. NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center are co-hosting this presentation in collaboration with Stronger Together, a coalition of concerned parents and community members working to reduce the risk of substance abuse and other health challenges facing youth in Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe.
