The Noguchi Museum, in collaboration with Bang on a Can/Cantaloupe Music, hosts a series of innovative music every second Sunday in the summer. With its unparalleled musical sensibility, Bang on a Can is one of the world's best recognized and most powerful ambassadors of contemporary music.
Kyaw Kyaw Naing will perform in the Museum's sculpture garden. Naing is a modern Burmese traditional musician and master of the pat waing, a traditional Burmese drum-circle instrument. These drums surround the musician who plays at lightning fast speeds. Naing is one of the only artists to widely spread the sound of traditional Burmese music.
