Old Bethpage Village Restoration

$10; $7 children 5-12, senior citizens (60 and over), and volunteer firefighters, free children under five

Event description: In November 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed the first official national holiday of Thanksgiving Day. In keeping with that tradition, old-fashioned wood burning stoves, beehive ovens and hearths will be fired up to prepare a variety of foods and baked goods, from 19th century recipes. Period historical fiddle music will entertain visitors each afternoon.
