Event description: Create a beautiful piece of glass art, a colorful trivet, tiles, or glass coasters in this comprehensive one-day workshop. Also, make pendants, earrings, and other jewelry components. Students will learn how to cut flat glass, arrange it into patterns, and have the completed pieces fused in a kiln. All students will gain a fundamental understanding of glass compatibility, and a solid foundation for working with Bullseye glass. They'll get to know the kiln environment, and go home with a variety of glasswork. No glassworking experience is required; beginners welcome. Instructor: Martha Wingate Taylor.
