Pelham Art Center
Advanced Placement art students from Bronxville, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and Pelham high schools exhibit their works side by side creating a unique collective display. Pelham Art Center is delighted to announce the return of its high school student show (last year entitled "Advanced Art Student Exhibition"). The exhibition will feature artwork by students in advanced placement (AP) or upper-level art classes from four local high schools: Bronxville High School, Mount Vernon High School, New Rochelle High School, and Pelham Memorial High School. Over 60 works in a variety of media will be shown. For many of the artists, this exhibition will be the first time they show their works in public.
AP art courses are designed for upper level high school students who are interested in pursuing art with added intensity. Many are preparing art portfolios as part of their applications to college.
The High School Art Salon will be on view for one week, April 16-23, 2012.
Address: 155 Fifth Ave.
