The first county fair was held in Queens in 1693. Step back in time and enjoy pie eating and corn husking contests, hayrides, carnival rides, and midway games.* Check out world-class entertainment with live music and theatrical performances, local craft vendors and tasty food vendors and get recycling tips at the Con Edison Ecology booth. This traditional agricultural fair boasts blue ribbon competitions in produce, arts & crafts and more. The Amazing Maize Maze opens this weekend — be the first to find your way!

*Note: Additional fees apply for hayrides, carnival rides, midway games, & some other attractions. Height rules apply at all carnival rides. Admission to the maze is included in the Queens County Fair ticket price.

    The Queens County Farm Museum dates back to 1697 and occupies New York City's largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland. The farm encompasses a 47-acre parcel that is the longest continuously farmed site in New York State. The site includes historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard, and an herb garden.

    The grounds are open seven days a week, year-round from 10am-5pm. Visit the Welcome Center to purchase goat feed, or go for a stroll around the farm to see fields, livestock, and farm implements. On Saturdays and Sundays they offer guided tours of the historic Adriance Farmhouse and seasonal hayrides (from April through October, weather permitting).

    General admission is free, except during public events. Group visits by schools and organizations require advance reservations and admission fees apply.
