Event description: This exhibit discusses the fateful day of June 15th, 1904 when over a thousand people perished when a Steamboat caught fire during an excursion from the East Third Street Pier in Manhattan to Locust Grove, Long Island. Gather at the Kingsland Homestead to view the new exhibit and to learn about upcoming QHS events honoring this terrible tragedy in the history of New York City.
