Event description: Teach your kids about a new culture by bringing them to the Pomonok Branch of the Queens Library. Join the gifted musician and singer Khalil Ahmadi for an evening of folk and contemporary music from Afghanistan. Well-known in the local Afghan community, he has delighted audiences throughout the tri-state area and New England. He will be accompanied by the talented Uzbek-born dancer Yana Kusayeva, who will perform regional dances.
