Event description: Come explore the Queens Museum of Art with a program designed especially for children with autism. Register for Saturday afternoon sessions to learn different ways to explore are various types of exhibitions. Participants will discuss how to view art with your children and families will have an opportunity to make art in the studio inspired by the work in the exhibitions. Exploration and play will help bridge connections to the artwork and build literacy. Groups include up to six families affected by autism. Feel free to include parents, grandparents, and siblings when registering for the workshop. The only requirement is that all registered guests must make art.
