This is a guaranteed great time for everybody except parents who hate to lose to their children. Queens Theatre is currently hosting the online family game show "Just For Fun" on Sundays. Designed for children (ages 6-10), this trivia contest is based on such themes as nature and space. And with comedian-actor-showman Willy Appelman as the host, the program mixes interactive games with charades, jokes, songs, trivia, and other activities geared toward bringing adults and youngsters together. Appelman begins each program with dynamics designed to get the body activated and the mind thinking creativity. Then he leads rounds of questions and divvies out totally random points to the competing teams. Some questions entertain. Others teach. Still more awaken hidden talents and knowledge. It's free, and everybody is invited. Plus, Queens Theatre is still looking for families to be contestants. If interested, visit the website and fill out a short questionnaire. However, contestants should understand that "Just For Fun" is true to its name- there are no monetary prizes.
