Queensborough Performing Arts Center
The highest-grossing animated film of the 20th century, The Lion King, will be shown at QPAC as part of a one-of-a-kind interactive family-oriented film series. Here, the crowd sings (and dances) along with their favorite characters without an ounce of apprehension. These movies are captioned. Trivia contest with prizes before each showing. The most enthusiastic singalong participant wins a $100 cash prize.

The cornerstone of the Performing Arts Center is the annual Professional Performing Arts Series. The Series was created to bring a high level of accessible world-class entertainment to the community at large. Throughout its over 50-year history, QPAC has successfully produced over 1,200 performances and served over 1 million individuals in its intimate 875-seat theater. QPAC is strongly committed to expanding public access to the arts for everyone.
