Event description: Anticipate the joyous arrival of summer outdoors in a multicultural event presented by three lower Manhattan organizations: Battery Park City Parks Conservancy, the Museum of Jewish Heritage/A Living Memorial to the Holocaust and the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.

Enjoy songs by Grammy award winning musicians Elizabeth Mitchell and Dan Zanes, with their band. Hear Native American storytellers tell legends, learn about the wisdom of the native people in the Americas who plant traditional Three Sisters Gardens, play tug of war and other lawn games, plant a sunflower to take home, make dragonflies with dried corn husks and dancing leaf hand puppets, and either buy food or bring and have a picnic.
