Event description: Enrollment is limited; early registration is strongly encouraged.

The third installment of art workshops for kids with Pratt Institute art educators explores MUNCH | WARHOL and the Multiple Image. Working with several printmaking techniques, kids will, like the pop artist Andy Warhol, transform the images of Edvard Munch's Madonna, The Scream, and Self-Portrait with Skeleton Arm with their own personal versions or interpretations of the original works.

About the Art and Design Education Department at Pratt Institute The mission of undergraduate Art and Design Education is the preparation of students of art and design as accomplished teachers of a diverse population of learners in urban schools, museums, early childhood, and community programs. Throughout the curriculum, practice is directly connected to, and supported by, pedagogical theory with an emphasis on reflection and the development of critical thinking skills. The department's graduates transform art classrooms into studios where students can discover their potential as learners.
