Event description: In celebration of Lunar New Year, also referred to as Chinese New Year, for an afternoon of entertainment and family fun. To get fully into the holiday spirit, the mall has partnered with the Praying Mantis dance troupe and local nonprofit, CenterStage: The Queens Center for Performing Arts to provide an array of activities and performances. Praying Mantis will start the day off with a Lion Dance outside the main entranceway at 12:30 p.m. and then proceed to tour the mall with more intimate performances for shoppers and attendees.

The fun continues at 2pm when CenterStage begins its live concert featuring traditional Chinese music.
