Event description: The King of Navarre and three noblemen take an oath to devote their lives to scholarship for three years without the company of women. When the Princess of France and three ladies-in-waiting arrive, passion and puns abound. Will the oath hold? Or will the men succumb to the game of love? In this screwball romantic comedy, The HiptoHip Theatre Company takes Shakespeare's wordplay and wit to dizzying heights. This year also features a new children's program called Kids and The Classics which will be offered 30 minutes before each show. The program consists of fun theatre games and an introduction to the play.

About Socrates Sculpture Park

Founded in 1986, Socrates Sculpture Park is the only site in the New York Metropolitan area specifically dedicated to providing artists with opportunities to create and exhibit large-scale sculpture and multi-media installations in a unique outdoor environment that encourages strong interaction between artists, artworks and the public. The park’s existence is based on the belief that reclamation, revitalization and creative expression are essential to the survival, humanity and improvement of our urban environment.
