Socrates Sculpture Park has launched a new summer shuttle bus service to promote and connect Long Island City's cultural institutions, while linking the Western Queens waterfront to a major transit hub at Court Square.
The bus, which will stop at the entrances of Socrates Sculpture Park, The Noguchi Museum, SculptureCenter, and MoMA PS1. (see website schedule ). The bus holds twenty-five passengers, seated on a first come, first served basis. Each Museum is open until 6PM, Socrates Sculpture Park closes at sunset. SculptureCenter will be closed on the following dates: 5/17?18, 5/24?25, 5/31, 8/3, 8/9?10, 8/16?17, 8/23?24, 8/30?31, 9/6?7, 9/13?14.
*The 5:30 bus returns to Socrates for the final stop. This free service is made possible by generous support from Shelley and Donald Rubin, and is a partnership between Socrates, The Noguchi Museum, SculptureCenter, and MoMA PS1.
