The Staten Island Zoo is once again proud to be going blue in partnership with Autism Speaks, providing a friendly, judgment-free enviironment for families affected by autism spectrum disorders. The day will allow families to enjoy Zoo exhibits along with sensory-friendly activities. A quiet area will be available for those who need a rest. Gates will open one hour earlier at 9am so families can enjoy the exhibits in a more private setting.
