Stepping Stones Museum for Children

Event description: Stepping Stones is offering free admission for families of children with special needs. Enjoy the museum's exhibits, mingle with other families and learn with your child in a safe, welcoming, ADA compliant environment. Local and statewide organizations and agencies that support families with special needs will offer activities and answer questions. An Open Arms initiative.

Stepping Stones opened in March 2000 and was founded by Gigi Priebe in response to the needs expressed by parents, educators, and community leaders actively seeking quality educational offerings to help children learn and grow. It’s a fun, colorful and engaging environment that recognizes the value of play in promoting learning, creativity and discovery.
