School is out, so the museum will open with a special Member Morning to give members an exclusive hour of play from 9:00 – 10:00 am before the doors open to general admission visitors. During the day, Stepping Stones pays tribute to the inspirational Civil Rights Movement leader with a special viewing of his famous I Have A Dream speech. Museum guests are encouraged to add their big dreams for 2020 within a giant community-inspired mural.

Stepping Stones opened in March 2000 and was founded by Gigi Priebe in response to the needs expressed by parents, educators, and community leaders actively seeking quality educational offerings to help children learn and grow. It’s a fun, colorful and engaging environment that recognizes the value of play in promoting learning, creativity and discovery. As a special place where children of all ages are encouraged to explore, invent, test and observe, the museum is a leading destination for schools, groups, families and anyone seeking a fun experience.
