Student Advocacy

Event description: This workshop is presented for parents by Maria Suchy-Kozak. By the time a special education student reaches age 15, his or her Individualized Education Plan (IEP) should include a transition plan to prepare for leaving high school. Exactly what is it and who does it? Hear how Transition should work and what you can do now for a better outcome. The goal is for parents to leave the workshop knowing what their next steps are. Pre-registration required. To apply for a scholarship, call Lois Solomon-Neal at 914-347-7039 x100.
