Get the garden you've always wanted with plants that are carefully chosen as deer resistant from proven growers in our area, along with a selection of unique native wildflowers and vegetables. Teatown's Annual Plant Sale is a gardeners' paradise featuring the unusual, the new, and the tried and true. The two-day event opens with a first pick sale on Friday, May 10 from 4-7pm with an admission fee of $10 per person. On Saturday, May 11, admission is free and the sale is open from 9am-2pm.
A rich abundance of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, vegetables and herbs, many of them native, await visitors. Not just for seasoned gardeners, this sale is also ideal for beginners. Volunteer experts guide shoppers through garden planning by helping them choose the appropriate plants, and going step-by-step through their proper maintenance and care.
As always, Teatown staff and dedicated volunteers are available to answer any and all gardening questions as well as offer their advice on garden placement and step-by-step plant care. All proceeds directly benefit Teatown's environmental education programs.
