Event description: Learn how many bat species use echolocation to navigate and how these amazing animals play a vital ecological role as the only flying mammal in New Jersey. Then, take a guided walk along one of the nature center's trails and use a sonar detector to search for signs of bat life. This program is intended for adults and children ages 5 and up and is held both in and outdoors. Rain or shine. Registration is required.
