Tenafly Nature Center
The nature center officially opens StoryWalk, an interactive outdoor exhibit that turns reading into an adventure along outdoor trails. Hikers can read a nature-themed story while they walk in the woods. Although the stories are aimed at beginning readers, they are designed to appeal to all ages. The nature center will post a new story, page by page, along a trail each season. The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
Address: 313 Hudson Avenue Tenafly, NJ 07670
