Event description: Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) Professor of History, Matthew Warshauer, PhD, will present an account of the state's role in the Civil War. Warshauer will address the struggles of a war-torn, politically charged Connecticut and how communities banded together to survive the conflict. During his talk, Professor Warshauer will explore how P.T. Barnum influenced American history in ways you've never known.
