Event description: Science fun comes to Maple Grove. Enjoy this hands on animal presentation. Discuss the difference between Threatened, Endangered and Extinct animals. HIPPO: Habitat loss, Introduction of invasive species, Population, Pollution and Over consumption. Bringing confiscated lizard bags, shoes etc. Includes the visit of the chinchilla on the list of endangered animals and the box turtle on the list of Species of Special Concern. Science Certificates presented to the children for attending each workshop. Can be used at participating schools for Extra Credit towards Science Grades in September.
