Event description: During this free educational forum, presented by the Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) of CT, Dr. Eyal Shemesh, a leading child psychologist, shows how we can use a positive approach to empower children and families who manage food allergies. There will be a Q&A after Dr. Shemesh’s presentation.

Eyal Shemesh, M.D. is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry; Chief, Division of Behavioral and Developmental Health; Director, the EMPOWER (Enhancing, Managing, and PrOmoting WEll-being and Resiliency) Program, the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute Department of Pediatrics and Kravis Children's Hospital Mount Sinai Medical Center and School of Medicine New York.
