ONLINE 'Black History Museum: Virtual Museum Experience' Freedom Rides Museum

In 1961, Freedom Riders, groups of volunteers, black and white, male and female, rode a Greyhound bus to Montgomery, Alabama in protest of segregation in public transportation. Students will visit this museum and learn about these courageous young people and the work they did to protest using non-violent methods. Reserve your spot for this special community education event and earn community service credit! Middle school and high school students are invited to register and participate in this LIVE special event!
