Celebrate Earth Day and springtime with some family-friendly and Earth-friendly fun at Trailside Museums and Zoo at Bear Mountain State Park on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:30am-3pm.
Come early, at 10:30, and help make treats for the bears. They emerge from their dens to gobble them up at 11am.
Throughout the day, there will be nature-related displays, activities, and games, plus some tips to help you look after Mother Earth! Trailside interpreters will be here to provide information about the animals and other exhibits. The rain date is Sunday, April 23.
There is a $10 parking fee at Bear Mountain State Park. There is not a separate admission fee for the zoo. Donations are welcome.
Trailside Museums & Zoo is part of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission.
