Now more than ever, kids need to hear stories of positive role models, hope and leadership. The Travis Manion Foundation, a national veterans serving organization, is presenting its signature program Character Does Matter virtually. Through this effort, kids and young adults can participate in conversations about character, service and leadership through guided discussions and story readings facilitated by volunteer mentors who are military veterans and families of the fallen. Story reading sessions include watching a recorded read along video and discussing themes about character strengths like Kindness, Integrity and Leadership. They are geared to kids in 2nd to 5th grade. For more about Character Does Matter: https://www.travismanion.org/our-programs/character-does-matter/
