Looking for safe, innovative Halloween fun? The Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum has planned lots of it in mid-October. Night at the Vanderbilt Museum: A Wicked Walk will take place October 15-18. Proceeds from the fundraising event will benefit the Museum’s STEAM education programs. (No refunds.) The Museum collaborated with Redmax Events. The event is sponsored by People’s United Bank and by The Observer, Northport's newspaper. All visitors are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to this open-air haunted walk. Costumed actors will be spooking guests, and the Posey School of Dance from Northport will perform a zombie dance at the evening events. The Museum’s drive-in movie screen will be playing the classic, black-and-white vampire film Nosferatu. Included: Entertainment, open-air photo booth. For purchase: festive food, light-up headbands, and light-up foam sticks. Masks and social distancing required.

Daytime Wicked Walk (more suitable for young children, and with no Halloween actors present) will take place on Saturday and Sunday, from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.

Purchase tickets in advance.
