Come to Wave Hill in the Bronx to see the Hive Culture: Captivated by the Honeybee exhibit. Join an exhibition interpreter for one of our regularly scheduled gallery tours. Through painting, sculpture, photography and video, 18 artists share their fascination with honeybees, and in raising awareness of the importance of bees to nature, agriculture and environmental health. Also on view is an installation in Wave Hill's Sunroom Project Space: Sreshta Rit Premnath creates a pillbox containing a miniature garden of plants that are being contested by various "biopiracy" taskforces around the world. Tours take place Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the month.
Address: West 249th Street and Independence Avenue Bronx, NY 10471
