Event description: Listen to guest storyteller Rama Mandel read "The Lorax," by Dr. Seuss, and "The Giving Tree," by Shel Silverstein. Working with your hands, form burlap and mixed papers into a portrait that honors trees. Then fashion a tiny Earth Day gem to wear as a charm or pin. Admission to the grounds is free until noon.
