Grounds admission: $8; $4 students/seniors; $2 children ages 6-18

Event description: Even novice birders can participate in scientific research by observing and collecting data on local birds. Naturalist Gabriel Willow guides participants in recording bird sightings at Wave Hill, and then submitting their observations to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. iPhones or iPads not required but recommended. Ages 12 and older welcome with an adult. Space is limited. Registration recommended, online at wavehill.org, by calling 718-549-3200 x305, or at the Perkins Visitor Center.
