Winter Workspace artist Dana Levy, using the winter landscape as a source of inspiration, presents a short lesson on video editing and how moving images can be used to visually represent text. Then, participants will shoot images of Wave Hill's grounds and learn how to edit them to create a short video-poem based on a piece of writing that inspires. Each participant must bring their own camera or camera phone and a piece of text for inspiration; all other materials are provided. Workshop is open to all visitors ages 12 and older when accompanied by an adult. Registration required, online at wavehill.org, onsite at the Perkins Visitor Center, or by calling 718-549-3200 x251.
