Description: How do animals find each other in the dark? Take an evening walk with naturalist Paul Keim to learn how bats, frogs, crickets, and katydids use sound for location and communication. Use eyes and ears - and an echo-locator (electronic device) - to search for bats as they skim the evening sky in search of insects. Don't forget a flashlight! A super fun program for visitors ages 10 and older, with an adult. Space is limited. Registration required online, by calling 718-549-3200 x251, or at the Perkins Visitor Center.
