This event has already taken place. Click here for the latest events.

  • Apr. 11, 2020 through Apr. 12, 2020, 10am-1pm
  • Wave Hill
  • West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, Bronx
  • All Ages
  • $10; $6 students and seniors 65 and older; $4 children 6 and older; free for children younger than 6 and free admission to grounds on Saturday until noon.

The spring exhibition in Glyndor Gallery, Eco-Urgency: Artists Make the Case, showcases artists intimately responding to diverse ecosystems, and the species within them. Be inspired by these artists’ way of working, and go on an imaginary bioblitz to find make-believe animals and plants that may just exist. Create your own species using a mixture of soil, clay and a selection of local wildflower seeds, and place them in their very own natural habitat.
